Okay, so immediately I was gripped into this story. it's such a shame I could only read the first look! I am a massive sucker for anything fantasy, dystopian or a good old competition. So, seeing that anyone who is a fan of Victoria Aveyard or Holly Black would like this book, I AM OF COURSE IMMEDIATELY INTERESTED!
Reading the synopsis, I very quickly felt Hunger Games vibes mixed with some Throne of Glass in there. Give me a world where things never go how you expect and someone is fighting the fate thrust upon them - it is guaranteed to be a favourite of mine.
