I loved the writing style of this author - the main character, Zahru, made me literally die laughing as I read her inner thoughts - they were riotous and hilarious and kind of like my own thoughts. Also, I loved how she could talk to animals. Literally loved it! It's clear that Zahru is a good person, constantly trying to see the good in others and correcting herself when her thoughts tip towards unfavourable - even when the person is undeserving of her forgiveness. The world's descriptions were vivid and completely engrossing and I enjoyed every bit of those descriptive passages. The rest of the characters I fell in love with too, and I literally could not get over how amazingly they were written.
