I really enjoyed this book. It's different from anything I've read.
This story is about a girl who wants to go see the palace and just wants chocolate. When she gets there she ends up accidentally killing a prince and goes on this race so people don't kill her. She ends up surviving and the people call her the chosen one even when she thinks she isn't.
I really did like the plot. Of course I've read many palace stories this one is a bit different from any of those and I think it's worth the try.
I do think at some points it dragged with filler paragraphs.
I enjoyed Jet's character and his and Zarhu's friendship/relationship changing through the book was done well.
I also really liked Zahru's personality and her love for her family as well as her friendships with everyone and how caring she is. She makes sure everyone is being taken care of.
Overall I enjoyed this book and would recommend!
