Beautiful cover to match the story inside. I love books that set, not only in other worlds but also countries as well. Natalie Mae wrote a descriptive and beautiful world. One I would love to be in. How she describes each character and the clothing of them to the setting. Really puts you in to that world and delve deeper in to the book as well. And the main character, Zahru! She is wonderful. She’s such a strong, funny, and kind person. And she really grew so much throughout each page. And it was nice seeing her friendships as well. Not the typical female friendships but a genuine one. No jealousy or sneaky behind the back stuff.
With every word, I felt like I was on this enthralling adventure with Zahru myself! You will not be able to put this book down as it is pull of action and adventure. A must read! Can’t wait to delve even deeper in to this world with book 2.
