Hunger Games But With Magic And Way Better
I am so freaking excited to get the real hard-cover version of this novel and display it in my room once it comes out. Not only is the cover absolutely gorgeous, but the book is INSANE. The dialogue and wit of the main character Zharu, is similar to Feyre from ACOTAR and that made me like her instantly. The world and background is so beautifully described, with lovely elements of desert life. The way that the author describes the groups of people, which I felt was slightly clade-like or Hunger Games-esc, is a great glimpse into their lives and feelings. The preview that I read left me at a tantalizing cliffhanger, making me want so much more. I know that this book will deliver.
Side note: I really appreciate the style of writing of this novel. I enjoy a third person POV very much and the continuous movement of the story (instead of switching between character POV) is really enjoyable.
