Honestly, at first I thought I was going to hate it. Fantasy is not my genre of choice but I couldn't have been more wrong with this.
Zahru accidently finds herself being brought into the Crossing and is chosen as the sacrifice. My heart was pounding with that one. I wasn't shocked at all to see a somewhat love triangle form. I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was to become so invested in Zahru and all she was dealing with.
I loved the writing in this, it flowed easily and it was super easy to get lost in it. I can't wait for the sequel.
