I loved this book! It was just what I needed to distract from all of the crazy outside of my reading chair. Natalie Mae swept me up in a world of adventure and I cannot wait for the second book. This book had it all. High stakes adventure, sibling rivalry, romance, action, magic, and so much more. I loved the journey that the main character took and the premise of the book really intrigues me. The first book I did not want to put down, so I can imagine the series will only get better. If you love fantasy, this book is a must read. There was very little I did not like. I felt like some plot choices were a little back and forth/repetitive. I don't want to give spoilers so I won't say anymore about that. Also, the main character felt a little fickle to me at times.
