Wild Game: Wildly Fascinating

I loved Adrienne Brodeur's memoir, Wild Game: My Mother, Her Lover, and Me. It tells the story of a young woman who becomes a co-conspirator in her mother's extramarital affair. The story begins with an exciting memory and the pace hardly lets up. Adrienne's mother is a fascinating woman who creates a codependent and manipulative relationship that is teeming with psychological material to mull over. This memoir reads like thrilling and head-shaking fiction. I couldn't get enough!
