I Loved It (You Will Love It Too)!

Wild Game is such a fabulous memoir that is indeed, as has been suggested, on a par with the wonderful The Glass Castle. The author’s mother Malabar brings to mind an archetype that often comes into many of our lives over the years. That is to say a person that we may know is a bit dangerous or even destructive but so alluring that we succumb to be pulled into their sphere. In the case of this book where the beguiling character is the mother, escaping the harm of the relationship is problematic to say the least but absolutely fascinating for the reader. The book is due out Oct. 15th. Buy it. You will not regret it. On a side note, it seems that Kelly with her picks has a good nose for a great book. Both Queenie and Wild Game are winners.
