Nonfiction self help books aren't a genre I typically read or enjoy that often. This one read very formally and used a lot of strong medical terminology that make the book feel stiff in my opinion. I think it could be hard to relate to and makes it feel in personable. The table of contents did have me intrigued for the more practical chapters, but since this first impression included only the beginning (i.e. history and definitions of anxiety), the subject matter felt like one I know and therefore not interested to wade through for the applicable chapters. If I had this in my hands I'd most likely skip to chapters of interest as opposed to reading it cover to cover.
