Who Killed Jerusalem is book by author George Albert Brown about a guy named Ickey Jerusalem, a poet, who is found dead in a locked first-class toilet on a plane. Insurance investigator Ded Smith is called in to investigate the poet's death. Ded soon realizes that in order to find out what happened he has to get into the dead poet's mind. Brown took a real life character and their work, fitting it into his literary world of murder, and mystery. George Albert Brown gets deep, presenting philosophy that intrigues readers trying to understand a character like Ded. If you are a fan of mysteries you will enjoy this strange and hilarious ride with many unexpected twists. While there are a lot of references to William Blake’s poetry and artwork, you do not need to be a Blake fan to gather what is happening. Overall, I enjoyed the different take on a mystery.
