This is my first book by this author. I enjoyed reading this mystery story. This is a little different kind of book for me. It is the first one I read like this and I found it hard to put down. I enjoyed the character Ded and his name fit right in with the story. He is my favorite of all characters in the story. He is strong and determined. I enjoyed how the author used details to make me laugh in parts and make fun of things in others. I was pulled into the story from the beginning. I did find it to be well written and hard to put down. There is great growth of the characters and the plot throughout the story. I also enjoyed how realistic the story felt and how I was able to relate to the characters. A story where a poet was murdered on a plane and Ded is the insurance adjusted sent to find out if the poet killed himself or was it murder. A story that is full of mystery and a couple of twists and turns as well. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
