I did not like this book. At all. I wanted to expand my reader profile and give this a try but this is not my style of genre at all. I’m glad I gave it a try and it’s okay that it did not work out because now I know for the future.
This book really felt like you had to have read some of William Blake’s books for more reference and inside information to this book. I haven’t read those books. So I felt like it was really confusing and I couldn’t connect with anyone because I didn’t know that background information.
I was also thinking that this book was supposed to be humorous. I saw a little bit of that in the first look that we were provided but other than that, I thought it was dry. None of the humor hit home with me and I felt like the author was just trying too hard to make it funny.
This book could potentially be good for those who like William Blake but just didn’t work out for me.
