Based on the cover and book blurb, I wasn’t expecting to like “Who Killed Jerusalem?” so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s a quirky murder mystery. While the cover is artistically interesting, it doesn’t jump out at me as a humorous and literary detective story. Perhaps there’s symbolism in the art that will reveal itself when reading the book, but had I come across it in the bookstore, I wouldn’t have given it a second glance. The writing is intelligent and nuanced and probably not for everyone. I hope the book’s marketing team puts more work into this one and gets this book into the right hands of readers who will appreciate it.
