I Love a good mystery/suspense book, and the promise of hilarity is icing on the cake. In some parts, honestly, it sounds as though George Albert Brown is trying too hard to force the funny. The main character, Ded, tends to talk as though he’s chosen the longest word in the thesaurus instead of one that fits better, which can take away from what is actually being said.
