I wonder what prompted the cover for the book? Eye catching, but a little strange. Just like the book. I was somewhat entertained by the narrative in the beginning and the character names are just so odd. Ickey Jerusalem? The life insurance claims investigator named Ded? There were some dark humorous moments in the excerpt and if that type of story is your cup of tea, then this book is for you. For me, I'm on the fence with this one, but leaning more toward liking it.
