Thank you to Martha Teichner, Celadon Book and Bookishfirst for an ARC copy of “When Harry Met Minnie.” I love animal stories and this book did not disappoint. I absolutely loved reading about these wonderful people and how by “chance” all their lives changed.
The story of how Harry came into Martha’s and Minnie’s lives is just extraordinary - some (like me) would say it was fate. Martha is so compassionate to agree to take on Harry (and all his problems and medications) for his mother Carol who is terminally ill.
The relationship between the dogs and these women (along with other individuals in the book) is just remarkable given the short period of time that the book takes place.
This is truly a wonderful heartwarming (and breaking at times) story that I’d recommend to not only animal lovers but to any reader who wants to be inspired in their own lives.
