This was an emotional read. It explored so much in not a ton of pages. I read this book in the span of a few hours. I really loved the relationships the book depicted. The book and author discussed relationships between not only the author and Carol, but it also talks about relationships between friends, dogs and owners, and dogs themselves. You may need some tissues while reading this book. I definitely can recommend it to anyone who is a fan of books like Marley and Me, A Dog’s Purpose, & Dewey. If you’re considering getting this book for the dog lover in your life, then I think they will appreciate it. Not much left to say except that this book is a terrific, emotional, humorous, and entertaining read that I know many readers will enjoy. If I had one criticism it might be that there were some parts that dragged on a little that were not too interesting, but that is just a nit pick. Overall, it was a fantastic read and I hope you will all love it as much as I did.
