This was my first time reading a non-fiction book. This was a really cute and heartwarming read. When I first read the first few chapters I was expecting to like this one but not as much as I did. The pups are the best part of this book, it was really one of the cutest reads I have read this year. I will say that this book was pretty emotional, so if you are a crier keep the tissues close. I am not a crier but in some parts, I feel like I would have balled my eyes out if I was. However, like everything I don't think this will be a read for everyone. At some parts, I noticed I was skipping ahead but then I would have to go back and re-read a page. But this only occurred during certain chapters, the rest of the time I was so hooked that I didn't want to stop reading.
