What a sweet story about these complicated dogs

The cover drew me in, as a dog lover, I always will read about animals if given the chance. I really enjoyed the author's history with her dogs and then her grief as she lost them. That's the hard part of being a pet owner; you generally will outlive your pets. I was impressed by her persistence to figure out Minnie's deafness. I would love to read more about Harry and Minnie, although I know I will cry by the end of the book.
