Sounds like a sweet story, but not something I'm into

This looks like a sweet story, but it isn't really the kind of book I would ever gravitate towards. I'm a dog person, but I don't really like to read stories about dogs — I just don't see the appeal. It's not for me. I do like the cover of this, though!
