I cannot wait to read the rest of this book! I watch Martha Teichner every weekend on CBS Sunday Morning and could just hear her lovely voice reading the story to me in my head. As a fellow dog-lover I understand how attached we get to our pets and love the story of the connection between her and the other New Yorkers meeting and getting to know one another because of their dogs. I am looking forward to learning more about Carol in the rest of the book as well. It sounds to me like fate (or something much greater) was at work here.
