Honestly just not my type of book. Seems sort of wandering and rambling. I feel as though it is overly descriptive as well. Also I would like to give a sort of disclaimer for anyone who may be affected by the subject matter: it does deal with animal shelters with kill policies and abandonment of animals very early on in the preview. Not in great detail, but I do feel like some may be caught off guard by this.
