This short excerpt was very good. I didn’t expect for it to be as sad as it was. I definitely didn’t expect to get so attached to Goosy in the few chapters I read. But when Ms. Teichner talked about putting him down, I couldn’t take the sadness anymore. As soon as Harry was introduced I hoped that Minnie and him would get along, and maybe even be in puppy love. Which is a silly thought, to get so emotional over some dogs that I’ve never even met. But here I am crying over Goosy’s death and hopeful for Harry’s future.
