Martha's love for her dogs is truly touching and shines through in just this short excerpt. She describes New York and her love for her dogs with such passion and you get a strong sense of who she is even in just a few pages. I think the cover is decent, and I like the New York City skyline, but I think the dogs are positioned a bit strangely. I like the cover concept, but feel it could be a bit better.
