When Harry Met Minnie by Martha Teichner is one of those memoirs that you can't help but feel touching your heart. It is the story of a woman with a bull terrior (Harry) that is dying from cancer as a result of what happened to her on 9/11. News correspondent, Martha Teichner that also is a bull terrier owner, received a call about her willingness to take in the dying woman's dog. She agreed to see if her female bull terrior (Minnie) would like Harry and found how instantly the two dogs bonded. She formed a friendship with the woman as well, which made giving her beloved dog easier and more comforting during her last days.
