Pretty good, but the ending was not as I would have expected.

I liked the book for the most part. It was entertaining enough to keep my interest and the characters really tugged at my heart strings and had me rooting for them. However, there were parts that I thought were not necessary to the story itself and drug on a little bit...felt like filler to me. I like the way that each chapter had a bit of backstory before hand in a way. I also liked that although there were predictable parts, there were also parts that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and unable to put it down.
I love the cover, it is so incredibly beautiful and makes me want to keep the book just to be able to look at it on my shelf.
The one thing that I did not like about the book was the ending. To me it was a pretty good story that lacked the kind of ending that makes you sad to see it end. Instead, I just felt a kind of disappointment that it ended the way that it did and make me wondering if I would want to read anything else by this author or not.
