Wow. What a start....not for the faint of heart.

After reading these first three chapters, you can feel the tension and agony that Jack is going through. Losing his mother, having to figure out how to protect and care for his brother, and dealing with normal high school drama is a lot for a teenager. I am intrigued to find out what happened to Jack's father and to see what Jack is going to do next.
