Wow wow wow! This book sounds like it is such a roller coaster of emotions and is all about the true meaning of family and survival. I am a teacher and see my students in similar situations to this story. It tugs at my heart to think about kids having to grow up so quickly and do everything they can to keep their families together. They are forced to grow up so fast because of their parents unfortunate decisions. I am dying to get my hands on this!
