I don’t know what I did expect, but I don’t think it was for the story to open with a suicide. Although, it makes sense in the context of the synopsis originally given. I’m intrigued about where the money could possibly be as well as what exactly is involved in finding it. From the first look, it seems as though the author writes realistic, sympathetic characters so it would be an interesting tale.
