The metaphors and descriptions in the excerpt are simply amazing; the lay paint such a vivid picture. My heart goes out the Jack over the situation he now faces after his mom’s decision, but I like his character. The way he cares for his brother speaks volumes. Ava made quite the entrance; she intrigues me though, and I would love to read more about her.
