I love Nina Lacour so was sold on account it’s similar to her books. Boy, does it start off with a bang! The very first chapter hits you right in the gut. Even as an adult, I’m not sure I could handle what Jack did in the very first chapter. We get our first glimpse of Ava and I’m curious to see how they’re histories intertwine.
