Firstly, the cover is beautiful and completely drew me in. The first chapter is very intriguing, and I enjoyed its mysterious nature. I also really appreciate the beginning italicized sections at the beginning of each chapter. Those are really helpful in setting up the action and also allow the reader to get a better acquainted with the characters.
