The cover drew me in and the story fits it so far. Mysterious and foreboding with a lot of hints of the trauma to come. The book from right out of the gate is tragic and heartbreaking and I get the sense that there might be moments of light, it's going to be fleeting. I love the dual p.o.v we get from Ava and Jack as Ava looks back and Jack moves forward.
