This book has a very dramatic opening and immediately grabbed my attention. The cover artwork is well done and I think that it conveys the mood of the story. This book has an emotional impact right from the opening paragraphs. It is a story of some difficult choices and how those decisions will affect everyone involved. I'm interested to see how the characters of Jack and Ava develop throughout the book.
