The first few chapters were a bit heavy, as you could see the struggle the main character, Jack was going through as he tries to take care of his younger brother. The writing reminds me of that of Laurie Halse Anderson. This was so well written though, and I couldn't stop reading until the last page. I know this will be a dark, thrilling tale. I would like to read the full version of this.
