Pretty messed up, to open your story on a kid finding his mother hanging from the ceiling and explicitly describing the process by which he gets her down, but you sure got my attention. I love the writing and wanna see where the story goes. I wasn't thrilled to learn that this is the first book in a new series, but still really wanna read it. The cover is to die for.
