Wow I was surprised to see that this was a debut novel. We are met with a heartbreaking and hard chose. Choose between your brother or money. Every choice has a consequence. How do you choose? How do you know you made the right choice? I feel like I will like Ava as a character. You feel for the characters and the choices that they are making. I'm hoping Ava goes against her father and helps the boys. I'm thinking it will lean that way but you never know. I'm curious to see how this book will leave off since it is the beginning of a series and there is already a confirmed sequel.
