I've seen so much buzz about this book already, comparing it to "Winter's Bone," which I found utterly captivating when the movie version was released years ago. I've also seen that this is for fans of Patrick Ness and Nina LaCour, who my students adore. Judging from those facts alone, I already know this one HAS to be a winner. Then can we please talk about the darkly gorgeous cover, plus the artwork on the pages? LOVE IT! And then of course the actual First Look itself....WOW. Amazing. It is just so, so good. I need more than 20ish pages of this, and need it soon!
