Winter is still here, and I'm very much reminded of this with the vivid imagery presented in this novel. The novel jumps into the action from the get-go, as the character enters upon a precarious situation. He is immediately caught in action, wondering how to proceed forward. I wasn't expecting this change in pace so soon, but I'm excited to read more.
