The world needs to know about the true crime case of Mary Yoder, poisoned by an employee in the upstate New York area. This book is fascinating and terrifying, showing just how diabolical one person can be. The accused murdered wrecked havoc in the lives of the Yoders, before ultimately being caught by her own cockiness. A true sociopath, Katie (office manager at the Yoder's business and on/off girlfriend of the Yoder's son, Adam) was charming and personable, which it difficult to believe she had such an evil side.
This book was, as I said, fascinating and terrifying. It is well written, avoiding most of the opinion of the author, and focusing on the facts of the case. It unfolds like a fictional novel, and the details that were provided were incredible! It was clear the author spoke to many people in regard to this case, and formed his opinion only after the collection of all the facts.
I highly recommend this book, especially to those who love True Crime, or twisty suspense/thriller books. This has all the right elements of a great suspense book, and is true!!!
