Not a fan of mystery or crime but it wasn't bad. The book was a little slow and hard to follow but I pushed through. It took a bit to get into the book but after I did it wasn't bad. The book follows the murder of Mary yoder. The book goes into detail and investigate her death. The cover is really beautiful and eye catching. I dont think that I'll re read it but this is a pretty good stand alone book if you just don't want to read a huge series but want a detailed story.
I think the authors writing was pretty good the book did jump around a lot so I wasn't a fan of that but other nan that it was good.
It's a thicker book than I expected but it wasn't a very long read as predicted when I first opened it. Once you get farther into the book it gets you hooked. definitely not my normal read but I dont regret it at all
if you like true crime or mystery you will most definitely enjoy this book
