I really enjoy reading this book, murder mysteries aren’t usually my favorite kind of novels but this one being based on a true story and being told from the perspective of an outsider, the detective it was a good read. However due to the lack of information it got repetitive especially towards the end. By the final couple chapters I just wanted to know who did it and why and how I didn’t need to rehash the same facts that had already been analyzed to death in previous chapters. The story is truly interesting and I would recommend it to somebody who is patient and curious, but certainly not any young adults or teenagers that I know. It’s a really good read if you’re willing to wait and the real life case is also very interesting. I only took off one star for the repetitiveness because it didn’t take away from the quality of the book though this book could have been shorter it’s not a fatal flaw of the novel and I’ll still definitely tell my friends about this book so I can go over the case with them and share my new found love of murder mysteries!
