I love true crime but true crime novels are sometimes too dry or written in a style that is more like a newspaper article than a novel. We Thought We Knew You is easy to read and flows well. And although I have a pretty good idea of where the story is headed, I still felt like the First Impression ended with a cliffhanger. Definitely interested in reading the whole novel.
