My first impression with the cover was "this is pink and a forest, this will be mystery", and as I kept reading what it is about, I figured I was right; however I did not see the twist with it being about family revenge and drama. About the cover; ad a graphic designer myself, I take a lot of notice of wether the design is attractive to the readers, or not. I find it very basic, and not throughout thought. The type has a lot of hierarchy, and the background which is the images is very bad, something that a newby in photoshop can do. It's just an image of a laky forest, with a lot of pink tint. Could the tint color be related to the story? possibly, however it does not engaged the viewers with the story instantly. Now, leaving my cover critic aside. As a reader, when reading about what the story is really about, I find it to be about a messy family revengeful, death even, drama. It has it's mystery, and just screams drama. I as reader, am not very attracted nor interested towards family, murder, mystery drama. However, for someone who does like this messy, thriller story, could be entertaining.
