True crime is not my genre. I don't even care for fictionalized crime books. And this one, based on both the synopsis and the excerpt, reads as it focuses a bit too much on the drama instead of the facts of the crimes and investigations. I'd probably be more likely to watch a Netflix adaptation of this book than to pick up the book.
