Like the first episode of a true crime podcast

I felt like I was reading the first episode of a True Crime podcast or that storytelling part of 20/20. The beginning sets everything up that you don't know what's going to happen but you know something is going to go wrong and someone will end up dead at the end. Definitely eery and creepy. I think the Cover looks like a book you would pick up for 5 bucks in an airport. Not sure I would have picked it up in a bookstore.
