Intriguing mystery in a beautiful setting
We Thought We Knew You is such an intriguing true crime mystery. It is written in an engaging manner, immediately I felt I knew these people and I cared about them. Of course I already have my suspicions but I think there are surprises ahead. I'm wondering what it is we don't get know and if anyone else will become ill. This is a thought-provoking read and I look forward to getting to the bottom of it.
I like the cover. A lovely scene, a place where one would enjoy spending time, perhaps a picnic but it is slightly foreboding, a little "off" , uncomfortable due to the purple tint. I think it captures the essence of our mystery. This crime takes place in a wonderfully peaceful part of our country but that beauty is disturbed by this dreadful crime and our unease is multiplied by the realization that much is hidden to the naked eye.
