The world is plenty frightening enough even without imagination. I haven't read much true crime novels, preferring to have my villains be imaginary. I am still glad though that I picked up this one. I think in just a few chapters, the author does a great job of setting the scene. Now I can't wait to read more about the characters, their motivations, and eventually, the killer.
