I absolutely adore Phelps writing style, and his build up of the story! It was very ominous toward the end of the first look, and had me craving more! I want to know what is happening with the Yoders, and this Katie Conley that seems to be some evil little thing. However, maybe she is a red herring, and Adam has something to do with his mother’s acute illness. Possibly Katie and Adam are in on a sinister plan together! I have to read the rest of this novel now even if I have to purchase it! Completely engrossing!
